Who We Are
Kenny's Kids is a private family foundation established by sisters, Vicki Gallegos and Melissa Pontikes. Its name is based on their father, Kenneth Pontikes, and the strong philanthropic values he instilled. Ken was the founder of Comdisco, Inc and always practiced the belief that it was his honor and privilege to help others in need, especially children.
Ken's legacy of giving back to local communities and doing it with respect and humility lives on in the multi-generational leadership of Kenny's Kids.
Kenny's Kids prefers to remain "under the radar" and does not seek publicity for its philanthropic investments. Information on some of the programs and organizations that have previously received Kenny's Kids funding can be found here.
